Those of you who follow my blatherings on twitter know that the kind folks at Babolat sent me a package of goodies last week. In that package? This backpack (in yellow). The next day, my “bonus” for renewing my USTA membership showed up. In that package? A US Open backpack and baseball hat. I’m feeling a bit guilty at all the backpack goodness I have going on here and want to share.
So, here’s the deal - everyone who correctly answers the following questions* will be put into a random drawing. First name drawn gets to choose a backpack. Second name drawn gets the leftover. (The baseball hat goes with the US Open backpack.) The deadline for submitting your answers is Monday at 10pm Central US time (GMT -6).
Sorry, this contest has ended. The questions asked were:
When was Babolat founded?
Who (male) has played in the most US Open singles finals?
What current male player has the best winning percentage in Grand Slams?
On what date did this site debut?
Has Rafa ever played Justin Gimelstob - if so, when, where and what was the score?
(Sorry about the crappy photo - it’s been a long evening that involved me trying on every pair of capris in Kohls and not finding a single pair that fit. I need Armani to custom make me jeans that fit over my non-famooos ass or I might have to take tennis photos at Indian Wells in my undies.)
*Please forgive me for that last question. I had to listen to him blather too much during Davis Cup.
